Pitiful...

So, we were so excited Friday evening to find the perfect Christmas tree - size, shape, fullness, etc - that we failed to correctly estimate the height of our ceiling. Our beautiful tree is about 12 inches too tall. I need to trim it down a bit before I can string all nine strings of lights on it and place the star on top.

On the plus side, though, I think we underpaid the going rate for a tree that tall because it was tagged incorrectly.
