This past weekend was the last time to sign up for baseball season. So, while Chad and Thomas were hiking through the wilderness, I was the genie assigned to fulfil their wishes.
I learned that this year, because of where his birthday falls, Thomas will be playing in the big leagues, literally. Last year's fields had 60 foot base paths, no leading off, and other rules that made play easier for all. Now that Thomas will be in the Senior Minor league, he'll be playing on the field with 90 foot base paths, leading off, and whatever other new rules we'll have to learn.
Fortunately, Thomas is still excited to play. He and Chad were in the back yard swinging their bats around as a work out to increase bat speed.
