Woo hoo!!!

I couldn't stop smiling the whole way from work today. We have a new Asst. Director of Nurses. I'm not filling two assignments anymore, only one! The position is being filled by one of our floor nurses which means I need to continue sifting through all the LVN applications that cross my desk any given day. She'll take over staffing, infection control, and incident reporting. That will free me up to do more of the nursing care instead of the paperwork side of the job.

I'm so excited!
