Darn it!!!

Now how am I supposed to make a sandwich with this mess???

This massive hole extended almost the entire length of the loaf. (Don't worry. The bread wasn't gray in real life. The lighting was off I guess.)

I ended up taking a piece nearer the opposite end of the loaf where the holes were smaller and spread my egg salad on it. The bread was pretty dense, flavor was okay, but maybe I piled the egg salad on too heavily to really appreciate the taste.

Next time, I'll run a knife through the dough after it's poured into the pan to eliminate the massive air pockets. Maybe that's why the loaf was so tall - it was full of air?
