HUGE, really

This is turning into the summer of HUGE events.

First, we had our HUGE Youngs family reunion at Bear Lake in June.

Thomas had a colossal time at scout camp (his first time ever).

Katelyn went on a HUGE two week long road trip that encompassed stops in Idaho, Utah, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.

Thomas and Chad got to fly in a HUGE plane to Utah and back for the Bradshaw reunion.

Emily experienced a surprising diagnosis of shingles which responded well to the antiviral medication and the priesthood blessing she received.

Katelyn and I both had HUGE amounts of fun at YW camp.

Chad's car was totaled in what could have been a HUGE mess. Fortunately, the insurance company has been kind and there were no injuries. Amazing, still.

Chad was released from a lifestyle he has gotten used to over the past 6.15 years.

Thomas got a HUGE surprise by getting contacts yesterday, for the first time ever. He was so fun to watch at the Dr. office. Before lenses, he could barely make out any of the HUGE letters that were shining on the wall. I was a little worried. Then, after the lenses were in place, he could see everything. He was ecstatic! "I can finally see the individual blades of grass again!" was one of his many exclamations yesterday afternoon.

I, for one, am ready for a little less excitement in our lives for a while. That and a another road trip this weekend, this time to Tulsa for a baby blessing.

Crazy busy summer for you guys! Mike was summoned to jury duty this week and I thought of you... he didn't make the cut and he's grateful! Who is the new FW 1st ward Bishop? Congrats on your new freedom.
