Monday news item

Chad was released as Bishop of the Friendswood first ward yesterday. I wasn't expecting it so soon because our Stake President had recently told him a release would come before the end of the calendar year. I guess he (the SP) figured 6.15 years was enough and it was time for a change of scenery for our family. Chad will formally receive a new calling after he returns from Philmont next month.

Which reminds me, I should probably start gathering some things for him to take and get Heath to fix the seatbelt in my truck so he can use it.
