Good news!

We finally heard back from the insurance company about the Corolla. The verdict is that the car is beyond repair and it will be totaled. Which you would expect when it looks like this:

(I'm still amazed that Chad walked away from this without a scratch, literally.)

They determined that this little car was still worth appx. $9000 before it was destroyed, so we'll get money back from the insurance company to put down on a new car when we find one Chad really likes. Hopefully that will be soon. I learned last night that once the car is totaled, the rental car is only available for seven more days.

It's amazing that there was so little depreciation considering Chad had added about 100,000 miles to the odometer.

I love my Nissan Altima. It is sporty and fun to drive, but a good sensible car that gets great gas mileage.

It's time to drive something suitable for an attorney.
