We'll see. Just in case, though, I've been stockpiling bottled water and other 72-hour-kit food stuffs since the summer began. I was just reading that some New Orleans residents are already beginning to evacuate, the ones with their memory intact anyway.
I was asked this past week if I wanted to evacuate with our residents if the hurricane requires it. I quickly answered "No thanks". I don't think I necessarily offended my DON, but I think maybe she would have appreciated at least the appearance of me giving the request some thought.
