Labor Day Hurricane?

Not so much. We spent the afternoon at a friend's home where we got to create our own kebob skewers to grill, swim, and socialize. It was a perfect afternoon - warm, overcast so not too hot, lots of friends.

I saw something on the way home that made me chuckle, though. I don't expect to see more than a little wind and maybe some rain from this hurricane. The wind is just now picking up a little. But the bank in front of our neighborhood wasn't taking any chances.

The sky from our backyard had some pretty neat cloud formations.



Here comes some rain... Maybe it will help with the brown patches in the front yard.
