Who knew?

Do YOU know what a roof looks before it's installed on the top of a house? Since Ike, I've seen it in many different forms - usually a stack of materials on the driveway awaiting installation.

Now, I have my own version. The materials for my new roof were delivered this afternoon so that it can be placed atop my house tomorrow. Thank goodness I have a FEMA shift tomorrow. My neighbor said she got quite the headache from all the noise when her roof was put on.

Is it terribly weird to be excited about such a silly thing?
